Captains' Voices
Each Captain has a different route — but the same challenge: managing complexity at sea, commanding yachts worth millions in conditions that leave no room for error. D.gree supports them with a marine-grade, deterministic AI — built from real feedback and thousands of hours of navigation data.
Here are their voices — direct from the bridge.

Captain Alessandro Orrao
Captain Alessandro Orrao is an experienced Italian yacht Captain whose career reflects a rare blend of technical expertise, leadership, and hospitality excellence.
He entered the yachting world in his early twenties. His dedication and hands-on approach soon earned him his first command in 2004 aboard a Mangusta 72, marking the beginning of an impressive rise through the superyacht ranks.

Captains of the Future
As they shared with us during workshops around the world, Captains are looking for technologies that make them one with their yacht — tools that dissolve the background noise of fragmented systems and amplify what truly matters: awareness, command, and the ability to anticipate their Owner’s needs.
They seek predictive systems that prevent downtime, guide maintenance based on real operating conditions, and help them foresee and manage onboard issues — ensuring smoother journeys, greater efficiency, and a better experience for everyone on board.
